Habitat Restoration
In order to maintain the biodiversity interest of a habitat some level of management intervention is often required, and we offer skills in the restoration of various habitats including:
- Wetland restoration – reedbed opening and translocation, sediment removal, waterbody re-profiling, ditch management.
- River Restoration – Natural Flood Management methods, re-meandering, soft bank protection, channel diversification and side ponds
- Woodland – coppicing, thinning, underplanting, soil translocation and removal of invasive species
